Is two years old! Emily is growing up to be such a buteiful little girl! She loves animals and her sister and playing by herself. Katie and her have such a wonderful realationship that I hope will continue on as they get older! I love watching them play together. Even though they fight sometimes, who doesn't. Hee hee She has such a personality that is so cute! Emmy is such a silly, silly girl! She will make anyone laugh! Her smile is breath taking. She is so so smart! Talking and singing are her favorite things to do. Emily had a wonderful birthday party yesterday and fun was had by all!! Thank you everyone that was able to come! It made it such a memoriable day! Here are a few things I found that totally fit how I feel about my little girl!
"I was never so blessed as the day you were born. I love you!"
"My Daughter, My Joy"
"Though you grow before me, Your still my baby girl"
"A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous… full of beauty and forever beautiful… loving and caring and truly amazing."
"A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart."
A few pics from her party! She would not let me put her party hat on! I tried for a good 10 minutes and then Uncle Gary came over and put it on and she just kept it on! Such a stinker she is!

Charlie Daniels thoughts on Obama
Charlie Daniels thoughts on Obama
Guns and Church
Since I identify with the people who fall into Barrack Obama's elitist description about people of faith who keep firearms, I'm not very happy with Barrack Obama's recent remarks.
He said something to the effect that us rednecks cling to our guns and our religion when we get frustrated and I would like to take umbrage to these remarks. My faith goes much deeper than his superficial explanation and I love my guns even when I'm not frustrated.
And I am not by myself. I was going to church and shooting guns before Mr. Obama was even born and come from a long line of good people who have been doing it for generations.
To me this latest Obama blunder only helps reveal the depth of condescension the far left wing of the Democrat party has for the folks out here in flyover country.
Mr. Obama's remarks are insulting to a lot of folks. It's kind of like Abraham Lincoln said, 'God must love the common people because He made so many of them'.
His remarks make me think that Obama doesn't know the people of this country very well. I'm sure he knows the jet set and the Hollywood bunch, the limousine liberals and the save the whales, kill the babies crowd, but does he think that the ordinary people don't count? Does he think that they're so stupid that they don't know who he's talking about when
He says these things? Does he think their opinions aren't important? Apparently.
How can a man stand in front of America and tell people what he wants to do for them and have so little respect for a whole segment of the population? In fact, a very large segment. Does that mean that he would only represent the high-minded liberal ideals of the far left and ignore the rest of us?
What kind of Commander and Chief would he make if he doesn't respect the very people who make up the lion's share of the armed forces?
You may say I'm over reacting, but I'm getting sick and tired of him making these elitist statements and saying that he had been taken out of context or some other flimsy excuse.
After his wife's remark about not being proud of this country and his pastor's statements calling America the U.S.K.K.K.A. And his own statement about not wanting his daughter punished with a baby, it makes me wonder what kind of a man Obama really is and what kind of a president he'd make.
Would he be an anti-gun advocate pushing the effort to take the firearms out of innocent citizen's hands? Would he not respect the religious beliefs of America, not taking them into account in his agenda?
I really don't know much about the man and neither does America. He basically came from out of no where and as the facts come out little by by little, they don't make a particularly confident picture.
I have a great fear that if our military gets broken by another President, this time we're not going to have time to fix it again and what that spells for America, I don't even want to contemplate.
Oh well, I guess I'll grab my gun and go to church.
Pray for our troops
What do you think?
God Bless America

This came from a friend of mine.
I just wanted to pass this along. Please take time to read it. I am scared to think about what November will bring. But, I know that God is in control and will protect His people.
When electing the next President, "the only decision
you have to make is who you want sitting in that seat in
the White House when - not if - WHEN we get hit again and
millions of American lives are put at risk!"
ENJOY!
This is from: "You ain't gonna like losing"
Author unknown.
President Bush did make a bad mistake in the war on
terrorism.
But the mistake was not his decision to go to
war in Iraq.
Bush's mistake came in his belief that
this country is the same one his father fought for in WWII.
It is not.
Back then, they had just come out of a vicious depression.
The country was steeled by the hardship of that depression,
but they still believed fervently in this country.
They knew that the people had elected their leaders, so it was the
people's duty to back those leaders.
Therefore, when the war broke out the people came together,
rallied behind, and stuck with their leaders, whether they
had voted for them or not or whether the war was going
badly or not.
And war was just as distasteful and the anguish just as
great then as it is today.
Often there were more casualties
in one day in WWII than we have had in the entire Iraq war.
But that did not matter.
The people stuck with the
President because it was their patriotic duty.
Americans
put aside their differences in WWII and worked together to
win that war.
Everyone from every strata of society, from young to old
pitched in.
Small children pulled little wagons around to
gather scrap metal for the war effort.
Grade school
students saved their pennies to buy stamps for war bonds to
help the effort.
Men who were too old or medically 4F lied about their age
or condition trying their best to join the military.
Women doubled their work to keep things going at home.
Harsh rationing of everything from gasoline to soap, to
butter was imposed, yet there was very little complaining.
You never heard prominent people on the radio belittling
the President.
Interestingly enough in those days there
were no fat cat actors and entertainers who ran off to
visit and fawn over dictators of hostile countries and
complain to them about our President.
Instead, they made upbeat films and entertained our troops to help the
troops' morale. And a bunch even enlisted.
And imagine this: Teachers in schools actually started the
day off with a Pledge of Allegiance, and with prayers for
our country and our troops!
Back then, no newspaper would have dared point out certain weak spots in our cities where bombs could be set off to cause the maximum damage.
No newspaper would have dared complain about what we were doing to catch spies.
A newspaper would have been laughed out of existence if it had complained that German or Japanese soldiers were being 'tortured' by being forced to wear women's underwear, or subjected to interrogation by a woman, or being scared by a dog or did not have air conditioning.
There were a lot of things different back then.
We were not subjected to a constant bombardment of pornography,
perversion and promiscuity in movies or on radio.
We did not have legions of crack heads, dope pushers and armed
gangs roaming our streets.
No, President Bush did not make a mistake in his handling
of terrorism.
He made the mistake of believing that we
still had the courage and fortitude of our fathers.
He believed that this was still the country that our fathers
fought so dearly to preserve.
It is not the same country.
It is now a cross between
Sodom and Gomorra and the land of Oz.
We did unite for a
short while after 9/11, but our attitude changed when we
found out that defending our country would require some
sacrifices.
We are in great danger.
The terrorists are fanatic
Muslims.
They believe that it is okay, even their duty, to
kill anyone who will not convert to Islam.
It has been
estimated that about one third or over three hundred
million Muslims are sympathetic to the terrorists cause...
Hitler and Tojo combined did not have nearly that many
potential recruits. So... We either win it - or lose it -
and you ain't gonna like losing.
AMERICA IS NOT AT WAR. The military is at war.
AMERICA IS AT THE MALL, or watching the movie stars.
(Remember Obama said in his book "Audacity of
Hope", 'I will stand with the Muslims should the
political winds shift in an ugly direction'.....what
better place for the Muslins to control our country, than
in the office of the President of USA .
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY, AND ASK OUR GOD TO TAKE
CARE OF THIS ELECTION!! PRAY ABOUT ALL OF THIS!!

Born a Baptist
Born a Baptist
Subject: Born a Baptist
Each Friday night after work, Bubba would fire up his outdoor grill and
cook a venison steak. But all of Bubba's neighbors were Catholic, and
since it was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on Friday. The
delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks was causing such a
problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked to their
priest.
The Priest came to visit Bubba and suggested that he become a Catholic.
After several classes and much study, Bubba attended Mass. As the priest
sprinkled holy water over him, he said, "You were born a Baptist, and
raised a Baptist, but now you are a Catholic."
Bubba's neighbors were greatly relieved, until Friday night arrived, and
the wonderful aroma of grilled venison again filled the neighborhood.
The Priest was called by the neighbors and as he rushed into Bubba's
yard clutching a rosary preparing to scold him, he stopped and watched
in amazement.
There stood Bubba, clutching a small bottle of holy water which he
carefully sprinkled over the grilling meat and chanting: "You wuz born a
deer, you wuz raised a deer, but now you is a catfish."

Is This A Great Barnyard or What???
Is This A Great Barnyard or What???
Once upon a time, on a farm in North Carolina, there was a Little Red Republican Hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat.
She called all of her Democrat neighbors together and said, 'If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?'
'Not I,' said the Democrat. cow.
'Not I,' said the Democrat. duck.
'Not I,' said the Democrat. pig.
'Not I,' said the Democrat. goose.
'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red Rep. hen, and so she did. The wheat grew very tall and ripened into golden grain.
'Who will help me reap my wheat?' asked the little red Rep. hen.
'Not I,' said the Democrat.duck.
'Out of my classification,' said the Democrat. pig.
'I'd lose my seniority,' said the Democrat. cow.
'I'd lose my unemployment compensation,' said the Democrat. goose.
'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red hen, and so she did.
At last it came time to bake the bread.
'Who will help me bake the bread?' asked the little red hen.
'That would be overtime for me,' said the cow.
'I'd lose my welfare benefits,' said the duck.
'I'm a dropout and never learned how,' said the pig.
'If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination,' said the goose.
'Then I will do it by myself,' said the little red hen.
She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see. They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share. But the little red hen said, 'No, I shall eat all five loaves.'
'Excess profits!' cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
'Capitalist leech!' screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)
'I demand equal rights!' yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Ted Kennedy)
And they all painted 'Unfair!' picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
Then a government agent came. He said to the little red hen,
'You must not be so greedy.'
'But I earned the bread,' said the little red hen.
'Exactly,' said the agent. 'That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle.'
And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, 'I am grateful, for now I truly understand.'
But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the 'party' and got her bread free. And all the Democrats smiled. 'Fairness' had been established. Individual initiative had died, but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared...so long as there was free bread that 'the rich' were paying for.
Nancy Pelosi wants to increase the taxes on the 'wealthy' by 40% and tax all the savings (401k, Roth IRA, et.al.) on those of us who were smart enough to save and who worked hard enough that we could. Even worse, she wants to 'GIVE' all the money she takes from those who worked so hard, to the 'illegals and those on welfare in the U.S., so they can have a good life'. Hummmmm, does that sound like the story we just heard or what?
Barack Obama agrees 100% with Nancy Pelosi's large TAX plan and also wants to take more money from those who have worked all their lives, so they can use it to pay for health care for those who have not worked hard or didn't save. He also doesn't want us to become self-sufficient in energy production (Democrats have prevented us from drilling for oil and natural gas on U.S. soil or off U.S. shores for about 25 years), doesn't want us to build refineries, doesn't want us to build nuclear energy plants, and doesn't want windmills in key Dem. areas of the U.S. ,BUT, doesn't have a plan to help our energy problems.
Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs.
Hillary got $8 million for hers. That's $20 million for the memories from two people, who for eight years repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.
IS THIS A GREAT BARNYARD OR WHAT? Yeah. If you can avoid stepping in the crap.
